Hi, I’m Al.

I'm a wedding and family photographer capturing beautiful weddings and family memories across Somerset and beyond. My home is near Bath, where you’ll find me enjoying country walks with my wife and daughter - usually with my camera close to hand.

My journey into photography began while studying fine art in Canterbury and Cardiff, where I first fell in love with photography and videography while developing black and white film in the darkroom. One of the many reasons I love photography is how a single image can instantly transport us back to a moment as if it were yesterday.

When I’m not behind the camera, I love running, skiing, cooking, and getting outdoors. These days, much of my time is taken up by my wonderful one year old daughter!

When you choose me as your photographer, my role goes beyond delivering a beautiful album for you to cherish. I’m there throughout the day as a friendly, calming presence - keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes so you can stay present and fully enjoy every moment together. I’m very lucky to do a job I truly love!
